On Tuesday December 10, 2024 a new generation of fashion designers take center stage, during SHOWROOM, an immersive fashion exhibition by third year Fashion Design students.
In the epic setting of the Rotterdam Harbor, the students will showcase their creative projects. The exhibition contains fashion performances, virtual experiences and installations in which students explore new visions for the near- and distant future of the fashion industry.
The students started their project with a contradiction – a personal observation of the world around them that shapes their thinking and making as a designer. Using virtual prototyping techniques, each of them developed a capsule collection of 3 outfits, in which they connect their making to cultural, economic or social issues. In experimental performances, installations and XR experiences they showcase what they have been making.

Venue is accessible via waterbus from stop Marconistraat in Merwe-Vierhavens. HR-students and -staff travel for free with their student/staff pass.
