We are domesticated by technology
By creating technology we distance ourselves from nature. Consequential events are fixed by creating technology repeatedly. We are domesticated by technology. This project is a metaphor for our relation with nature and technology. Trees are cut down and processed into lumber, stripped of their natural characteristics. By using digital reconstruction technology we can revive/restore the piece of lumber into the tree. However, the generated tree will only exist as a digital entity.
