Creating a Communal Narrative Through Play and Art
The starting point for Charley's design research was to explore means of interaction and connection between parents and their children. She devised a drawing game where a parent and his/her child would engage a situation from different perspectives, allowing a shared narrative to emerge. During this research she realized that this method shouldn’t necessarily be limited to parents and children. She's currently researching ways to develop modules that can be applied to the method, as to make it suitable for any relationship, be it a personal or professional one.
I want to find out about people’s inner lives and encourage them to visualise these lives in such a way, that an outsider is able to understand and appreciate them.
