The founder and owner of STUDIOVEGTER Fashion & Design Recruitment & Intermediation, Susanne Vegter specialises in intermediation and consulting for global brands and retailers in all areas of fashion and design. For all kind of professionals in the industry who are looking for a new challenge, new strategic insights, network opportunities and knowledge. Her focus lies on connecting industry with creative knowledge & new innovations.
How? By providing consulting on best practices, by connecting the industry with top talent, by implementing new business concepts and by providing lectures at symposia, portfolio training at universities and design academies.
With her experience as a designer, her knowledge and network, dedication and personal approach Susanne is able to make the difference and the real connection in this fast-moving creative industry.

What is your source of inspiration?
The value and the power of creative thinking. You need to understand and master the rules of creativity by combining talent and practice. Interaction with individuals fuels the creative process and nourishes society as a whole.
What defines you as a tutor? Your strongest points?
I hope to uncover students’ talents and give them tools to create their own unique signature in their visual and verbal expression. That way, they will be able to shape their future with confidence. In addition, I can suggest cross- overs and interactions with the industry.
What is your dream/goal as a tutor?
...that in this uncertain and fast-changing world I could help students gain confidence by communicating and visualising their own skills to the outside world.
Name one item from your bucket list.
I do not have bucket lists, I have many desires in terms of investing in gaining knowledge and travelling (preferably nature/mountains).
Whom would you call true innovator?
Too difficult, in each different category I have longlists ..from Rudolph Steiner, Simone de Beauvoir, Vivienne Westwood, people who changed history by their ability of creative thinking.
