We would like to invite you to the latest session of Beyond Social, called ‘Provoking Change’ at Het Nieuwe Instituut in Rotterdam. This evening we will present four promising projects from our Social Practices at the Willem de Kooning Academy. Let’s investigate what artists and designers can – and can’t – do for social change.

You will be invited to become an active participant in our ongoing exploration of the (re)design of processes and relationships. Next to presentations, you will join a workshop with both the students and an expert to further explore the potential and constraints of social design. By taking the presentations as a starting point in these short sessions, we challenge you to take these ideas further.
