Below you can find more information about the admission process for our bachelor programmes in Art and Design.

Important: Your application is only complete when you have registered on both platforms, ‘Studielink’ and the ‘WdKA Application Form’, before the deadline.

Apply for Design & Photography

After registration at Studielink and WdKA you will get access to a personal online environment (please check your spam folder!) It is your own responsibility to finish and upload your admission exam before one the admission round deadlines.

Admission round deadlines
If you want to apply for (de)Fine Art please look under header number 2 for the deadlines, as they differ slightly from the regular deadlines.

Deadline Round 1: January 19, 2025 – Non-EU & EU applicants
Deadline Round 2: March 23, 2025 – EU applicants
Deadline Round 3: June 1, 2025 – EU applicants

Admission round deadlines
Due to the limited number of places available in the (de)Fine Art programme, the admission deadlines differ slightly. The first round is only for non-EU candidates. The deadline for EU applicants is in the second round.EU candidates who submit their admission exam beforethe first round will not be assessed until the second round. Suitable candidates applying in the third round will be placed on a waiting list.

Deadline Non-EU candidates: January 19, 2025
Deadline EU candidates: March 23, 2025
Extra round EU candidates: June 1, 2025 - waiting list

Requirements international applicants

In addition to the remote admission exam (which includes 4 assignments), international students must also meet other requirements to apply to WdKA. These include providing hard copies of your diplomas and completing the visa process for Non-EU applicants.

NL Scholarship

The WdKA offers the NL Scholarship for students with a NON-EU nationality.
